En règle générale et quel que soit le type de Patrol :  - L’usage en TT et la circulation sur routes salées maltraitent les  dessous du véhicule, donc attention à la rouille perforante qui prend  naissance dans les « corps creux » (longerons) et dans les passages de  roue AR.
