En novembre je prévoi un voyage en Libye. Je suis à la recherche d'infos sur ce voyage. Toutes les infos sont bienvenues

At first let us know where you wants to go in Libya.

 

Some information,

1.) In Libya it's mendatory to have a guide (one will tel you it's not mandatory, you will see what to do)

2.) If you are going to the south of Libya it is mandatory to have a libyan policeman. This policeman can come in your car (the best) or with his own car. If the policeman comes with his own car you will not be able to go everywhere because the car is not made to cross the dunes and it is much more expensive.

1. and 2.) the policeman is there for your security and the guide to translate from English or Italian to Arabian language. But I can give you a contact details of a Libyan policeman whom speeks english... it is always better!

3.) You will need a passport and a visa stamp, you will have to pay for insurance for your car (European insurances are not recognised there) and a Libyan car identification that you will rent when you cross the border... and all that papers are very expensive.

 

but the gazoline is very very cheap! (0,08€/liter in january 2006)

Zuki, you will have to take in your expenses account,

- the daily/fees (U$ or €uro) for the guide and policeman,

- as well as, their food expenses

Yes we have, but let us know where you wants to go. (N, W, SW, Great Sand Sea; Namous, ... Awbari, Messak, ...)

For example: WPTS to NAMOUS; WGS84:

Tmassah village: N26 23.582 E15 46.628 to find the sand road for access to the Namous

On the sand road for the Namous: N25 57.972 E16 12.553

One way only, Chek point for acces to the Namous N24 56.705 E17 42.508.

Waw Ennamous (that means Mosqito's Volcano... we've seen O mosquitos ): N24 55.208 E17 45.710

 

This sand road is one way for access to Chad and Niger, non officially. No problems, but our policeman was always looking aroud. We've seen nobody for 4 days. 250km. The first part of the sand road is flat with soft sand place by place. The second part with rocks. No dunes. Some wood available at the Namous for the fire.

Normal nous y étions en hier. Il fait trop froid pour les moustiques

 

Les moustiques du Namous sont en fait de petites mouchettes qui vous bouffent et laissent soit disant de petites cicactrices sur votre peau. Sympa, non?

 

Dès les beaux jours il paraît que ça pulule dans le coin
