Posté(e) : 26 mai 20223 a (English, sorry). I recently replaced my tie rods. Inspection done, but my steering wheel is out of alignment. I know I can remove it, it has teeth on which the wheel sits. I can then set it level. My question is: Do I need a puller for this vehicle (RD28) 1999. A tool that grips the wheel, pushes against the center pivot? Thank you 👍
Posté(e) : 26 mai 20223 a Hi Mark, do you have an airbag in your steering wheel ? if yes, you need an adjustable (on both sides) rod. I replaced mine fully as my steering ball joints were dead. Otherwise you need to take the airbag off to realign the steering wheel. in either case, you will also need to get the parallelism checked/adjusted. Modifié 26 mai 20223 a par phdv61
